Hello,
I am close to trading my 2017 Ram 1500 Sport in and ordering a 2022 Laramie. I noticed that the 2022 uses a 275/55 R20 tire. My 2017 uses 275/60 R20 tires. The 275/60's are a 33.1" tire and the 275/55's are a 31.9" tire. Would there be any issue installing my relatively new BF Goodrich KO2 275/60 R20 tires from my 2017 on the new 2022?
Any idea why they went with the slightly smaller tires on the Gen 5's? I need the better tires (KO2 in D load range or Falken Wildpeaks) for towing. The stock SRa's don't cut it. The Gen 5's do look like they sit a bit lower than the Gen4's. Maybe it's just me?
Thanks for any info.
