I would like to get some 35x12.50r22 tires. I know the ride may be harsher but I think I can deal with it.

Mine are 34.5 they look badass! I am in the city mainly though and roads are bumpy. Didn’t drive it for 10 days and got back to town and drove today... it handles awesome but Just feel the little bumps more. This truck is amazing and I constantly feel torn bc the ride isn’t as nice. Seems like everybody on these forums is torn - lots of trade offs!

I installed 285/55r22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers this weekend, and I have the flexible links. I have about 1/2 inch rake in the back. I may put 1/2 wheel spacers on it. Havne't decided it. They ride smooth and they are quiet for now. Do they rub? IDK haven't experienced it yet.

Your truck looks fantastic. I would assume they don't rub as they are only slightly taller? Are they P rated as well?
Actually just looked the Nitto's site. Looks like I will have to go 305/45/22 to stay P rated. Not much taller then stock so that's a plus as well. Yours still looks great

285/55/22 look awesome on my limited but messes up the ride, mpg, and power. Wasn’t worth the trade off so I’m going to 33 inch. These trucks are amazingly smooth and I want to keep it that way. Look at 305/45/22 Nitto makes 4 ply in ridge and terra grappler. Most others are 10 ply and you will feel every bump.
Hey have you swapped-out your 285's for 33's yet? I'm about to pull the trigger on tires and really wonder why 33's would ride better than a 285? Is it the ply?

** I just sold an '18 Ford F-150 Platinum because I couldn't stand ANYthing about it.. to make matters worse, I had 295/50/r20 Hankooks that were 8ply?. Made a horrible ride even worse. So I'm extremely worried about ride quality. I DO tow a 9000lb. surf boat so I still need them to be durable (ply-wise) to tow a "heavy" trailer. Will RidgeGrappler in a 4ply still be ok towing 9K? Anyone?

How is the ride quality and noise levels? Significantly impacted from stock?

35x12.5r22 milestar patagonia M/T from Walmart for 187 a tire, with 2 in level. Tight fit, slight vibration at full turn w articulation.
Getting 1/4 Inch spacers up front to hopefully negate that.

Old thread, I know.

Has anyone put on a 305/45r22 street tire? I want something wider and slightly taller. I also want the best quality street tire money can buy. I want to keep the stock ride and hopefully pick up a better speed rating.

Any input is appreciated.

Reviving old thread....this looks great! Can you provide me any info on flexible links? Front/Rear? Any issue with the air suspension? Your truck doesn't look like it hardly has any rake ...appears almost perfectly leveled.

33/45/R22 doesn't exist.

But you can compare tire sizes to you hearts content with one of many tire comparison tools, such as this one

You are correct. I want more sidewall but I’m worried if 285/55or65R22 is too much and will rub or hit something. Or should I just do a 33/12.50/22? I don’t know man. I just need new tires soon and I won’t be able to level it until after I purchase the tires.
