Looking for tires for my 2019 North Edition, it has 20" wheels with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W-A 275/55/20. I was looking to go up a size or two but I only see load range E tires in any sizes larger than OEM. Am I missing something or is that just how 20s are? I'd really rather not get 60+lb tires when I don't need a 10 ply tire. Maybe I will just stick to the OEM size if that's the case.

There are plenty of tires in 20” that aren’t E-rated, assuming you’re not looking for a size that is traditionally an LT size.

I was looking for something like a 285/60/20, 33/34"ish preferably with the snow flake symbol for Michigan winters. The sizes I was searching on tire rack all showed E range only.

Lots of 275/60R20 …. And you will never notice a 285/60R20 in an LT

Yeah I guess that size may be the go to. I had the "real" wild peaks on a previous truck and loved them. Those come in 275/60R20 in SL which is 4 ply. They also have D range in that size which has 18/32" tread depth as opposed to 13/32" on the SL tire. Guess my debate is the longevity of that extra 5/32" vs the 10lb increase in weight from the SL to D.

That designation is nice. That size is mostly E-rated for the popular tires though.

I am in the same situation and there are a few P rated in 275/60r20. Im looking at wildpeak AT3W (heaviest at 48 lbs), hankook at2 extreme (not quite available yet), firestone destination AT2. Those will be my top options sometime in the next year when i wear out these junk all seasons. Ive decided i dont need a heavy LT since i don't offroad or tow more than 5k. Just need snow performance.

Yeah this seems to be the biggest size I'm seeing without going LT. I ran the AT3W on my 2011 Sierra 1500 and loved them. I'm definitely set on that tire, I think you will be pleased with it if you go that route. Some tires fool you with their tread design, the AT3W has full depth sipes, some tires don't and after they wear to a certain point they're basically useless when the sipes are worn through
