Hey guys. I just bought a 2020 ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 with the 3.21 gears. I have a pontoon which is pretty light, and at some point, I’ll start towing a bass boat. The 3.21’s work for me except for one thing. I’m thinking about adding a lift/level kit and some bigger tires to gain an inch or two of clearance.
What works best with this setup? I am thinking of leveling the truck with a 2 inch lift plus maybe an additional 1 inch all the way around. The tire size I am looking at is 275/60R20. Will that look stupid? Need more tire like a 275/65r20? What width would work best without requiring spacers? Is 285/60r20 too wide? What do you guys recommend?
