Tire Recommendations for New Owner

No lift, max fit. Small amt of rub in one reverse direction at full lock. I have factory air ride.
Definitely report back on your experience with them. I do long highway drives with the coopers (~100 miles round-trip at 75mph) on a weekly basis and have been happy with the noise levels and smoothness. But obviously haven't driven the Continentals.
It's good to know there are several great options out there for these trucks!

There's actually so many solid options that it'll drive you crazy trying to settle on one lol
I ended up going with the mostly obscure Falken Wildpeak HT02's. Been fantastic so far.

I'm not near ready for tires on my 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn which I only have 3,100 miles on, but wish the stock 20" Bridgestone Dueler H/L's had a higher load rating. I have experience with Cooper tires. I put some 265-75/16 Cooper AT3's (Load Range E) on my 2001 Chevy 2500HD 4WD (79,500 miles) about 10 years ago. For a somewhat aggressive tire they ride good and are not noisy. Mine only have 17,000 miles on them, they've worn even with 65psi, but I'll need to replace them after this winter. I live in the mountains of WNC, the Chevy is my work truck, so it's seen some heavy loads and towing. So the Cooper's didn't get good mileage, but my tires have aged out. Before I bought my Ram back in March I looked into putting some Pirelli SCORPION ALL TERRAIN PLUS Load Range E on my '01 Chevy, and may do that in spring. I believe Tire Rack rates them the best in it's category, but Pirelli doesn't have that tire to fit my Ram.

I wish that Continental made full sized truck tires. I like them on my Lincoln and when I had them on my Buick. They just have the oversized car tires they call LT though. Need to add some 35s and 37s to the lineup.

those have a nice look to them and they aren't crazy expensive like the toyo's and others out there at $400-$500 per tire. I have the limited with 22's so my options are limited (no pun intended!). These Coopers are $337/tire with 285/45/22. Wish they came with a bit larger sidewall though.

Spends too much time on here
I went with Pirelli Scorpion AS+3's and so far they have been far better in the rain than the Goodyear's. It was between the Michelin Defender LTX and Pirellis for me as my truck is 99% pavement. My issue with the defender is that its not a full width tire. The tire may list as 285MM across but that's at the side wall, not the actual tread width. I don't like the look nor the loss in additional tread width/traction/performance.
This versus this
The Pirellis are about 1" wider than the stock goodyears (and all most 2" wider than the Defender LTX) so it better fills up the wheel well and the wet traction is far far better. Performance wise, these feel lighter than the Defender LTX, had 2 sets on my previous truck in the 275/55/20 size, better in the rain and much better in the dry especially performance wise. They are around the same price
