Just the right front is failed but I am thinking I should replace them all? They are in year 6 of age. Do tire shops let you bring your own parts? Because I think they would way overcharge for them.

I do need rear tires so would do those at the same time I think. But then the fronts would need to come off and rebalance. Sounds expensive.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I have not done the TPMS in my 2019 Ram 1500 which will be 7 years old shortly. I have changed the TPMS in my 2011 Honda Fit with a No Mar motorcycle tire changer. I break the bead and replace the TPMS. I do not change the position of the tire on the rim and do not rebalance the wheel.

I would try an independent shop and see what they have to say and willing to do as far as changing in the front wheels.

If you are getting new tires, my experience has been the valves get replaced at the same time.

On a side note I just replaced an OEM original 2011 Honda Fit TPMS but the Fit only had 23K miles on the odometer.

Do you know if there is
Most shops should allow, they just won't warranty anything. I always grab mine from this guy on ebay and running them right now.

These are for my 19, I see you have a 19 also.

Do you guys know if there is any programming required or do they just communicate and work.

Holy markup batman... tire shops near me years ago want 60 bucks EACH for those. yeesh..
Dealers want $150 per wheel. Not sure if that includes re-balance even. I would hope so. Independent shop will do it with my parts for $30 per wheel.

I bought some black Ram wheels from offer up bc I like having two sets winter and summer. Found out the guy removed the oem sensors when I broke the bead on my motorcycle tire changer. Ordered new ones from ebay or Amazon mopor oem brand. They automatically program when you go over 60 mph... so you don't have to program them atleast on my 2022 bighorn. For my toyota, I program them to the bcm with toyota techstream software on my laptop.

What brand MC tire changer? I have not tried doing a Ram wheel with my No Mar brand. Had a little learning curve on my Honda Fit tires. I also purchased the hitch mount for the No Mar, gives me the freedom and space to work outdoors vs bolting it to my cellar floor.

I just purchased these:
Sensors
Only $35 for 4. Will have them installed at independent tire shop.
I found a Mom & Pop tire shop near me that will do the sensors (I supply the parts) for $20 per wheel. So now waiting on the sensors from ebay. I am also getting 2 new tires from him on the rear and he will do those sensors for free. He will also program them if they need it included. He quoted me 5 or 6 different tires ranging from $150-$250 each. The factory Bridgestones were the most expensive at $250. I will not be doing those.

I used a motorcycle tire changer to break the bead taking out the old one with your weight (knee) on the tire during the process to tighten it down with no rebalance required... use Mopar tire sensors only. Use a valve core removal tool for the Schrader valve. This will help when reseating the bead ... take time if you never done it so you won't scratch the wheel or use tape.

Bought the No Mar MC changer when the dealer gave me a 2 week ETA. Funny thing is I've done a 1/2 dozen car tires and no MC tires. My buddy was the first to use the trailer hitch and loved it. He talked about buying one. I said why buy and store when you can borrow mine when you need it.

My neighbor was tossing a trailer hitch carrier as it was taking up to much space and he doesn't use it. I took it and told him to take it whenever he needs it. I think he got the better part of the deal as I have yet to use it and now I'm storing it, but it's only been a few months.

UPDATE: I took these Cheap Chinese Knock-Offs to the smaller private shop and they were not able to program them. So they sold me 4 Autel MX Sensors @ $35 dollars each installed and programmed. I am returning the unusable MOPAR ones on ebay. My fault for cheaping out and trying what appear to be Chinese knock-offs. I got the Autel sensors put in today along with 2 new rear tires (275 55 R20) @ $143 each. Nebula Falcon. Everything is good now.

Bought cheap TPMS sensors from amazon, 433Mhz, replaced on my driveway, no need to program then. Took a while for them to link up tho.
