FYI
If it’s seating waiting for a truck to take it to the dealer. Call your dealer and say why is my truck seating waiting for transport. I did and my dealer says they put it on hold because they had no room at the dealer for anymore trucks and wanted to clear room before requesting the truck to be delivered. I told them if the truck wasn’t there by Saturday morning I didn’t want it and this was Thursday. The truck was there Friday afternoon. So the dealer seems to have input on when the carrier will bring the truck. I would call your dealer right away. My truck was waiting for 10 days before I called and if I called sooner I wouldn’t had to wait the 10 days.
Dealer did call, they supposedly were told by the trucking company it was to be delivered Thursday or Friday, and the trucking company didn't follow through for whatever reason.
I'm a wise enough man to realize that there's a lot of players involved in the hand off, and I'm sure that the fact that it's moving from train to truck limits the control any one person or business has to speed the process without the help of the rest.
It just goes to show that the estimates of a 7-10 wait from the railhead to the dealer are probably pretty close to the average.
Sure doesn't make twiddling my thumbs any easier knowing my estimates for every phase of build to delivery were closer than the dealers.
