Hi all,

Noticed cracks on all 4 tires. They're Goodyear Fortitude. Has this happened to anyone? Do you think Goodyear will cover it under warranty?
My truck is a 2019 Big Horn and was bought new.
  • Km on the tires are 63,000 km
  • Date on the tires are 042019
  • Size is 275/65/18
Might need to bite the bullet on this one but most of my tired have lasted closer to 110k km.

Nothing wrong with those tires. A little weather checking isn't going to hurt them. And tires are only good for about 5 years.

On the Mopar website when you login it shows your tire warranty per brand (there is an pdf), it's different then if you bought the actual tire yourself.
Unless you have run flats the warranties are very lack luster, which makes sense considering it would be really hard to sell a tire warranty if the truck comes with it from the factory.

If you think you are getting 68k miles on oem tires you're crazy. Expect to get 40k on new tires on a new car/truck and hope they last 60k miles.

That said those tires are fine

Thanks all for your advice.
I decided to get new Cooper AT3 LT's just for safety - I do a lot of winter/snow driving. My current OEM's still have a lot of tread life, but those cracks are a little worrisome. I've been searching the web and found that it's not supposed to crack like that and they're deep, in addition I just noticed today that the sidewalls are starting to rot.
