Yes I know this is popular.
My first Ram but I love it.
2019 bought used, one month later the ticking started.98,000k
I usually never buy the extended warranty but I did this time.
Anyone had problems getting this problem repaired .

Prob an exhaust manifold. If you don’t have warranty you’ll have to foot the bill unfortunately

A simple google search could have answered this, thousands of threads on this.... but ill bite, if the ticking stops after truck is warm its likely cracked exhaust manifold or snapped exhaust manifold bolts. If the ticking never stops its likely your lifters. Powertrain warranty will cover these, if not its coming out of your pocket.
