Hello, so here’s my deal. I got a 2019 Ram 1500 3.6 Bighorn with 34k miles on it. When I turn on my A/C there’s a tick like noise around the passenger wheel well kinda like a ticktickticktick……(nothing)…….tickticktic tick and so on. Here’s the catch though….it only does it in park. As soon as I put it in drive it’s gone. The lower I turn my fan speed it dampens out. A/C in cab works as it should. I’m very new to the newer Rams. Is that just the nature of the beast or what. It’s driving me nuts

It's possible that the A/C compressor may just be cycling. I just noticed my son in laws car doing that today. I had never noticed on a vehicle before, but while sitting in park, his cycles every few seconds. When the vehicle is moving, the air moving through the condenser, makes it cycle normal.
