Thoughts on rear seat ride quality?

Hi all,

My current vehicle has pretty good ride quality up front, but awful ride quality in the rear. I sit on the rear seat quite a bit because we have a baby. I wasn’t able to test this when I did my test drive in the Ram.

Does the very good ride quality up front also hold up in the rear seats?

Thanks!

My 17 year old son rides in the back a lot and says it rides as good if not better than my wife's 300.

I have three adult "children". In all my previous vehicles; they always preferred the front seat. Since I have gotten my RAM; they all say they prefer the back seat because it is so comfortable and spacious. My son is 5' 11", 200 lbs and loves sitting back there. Make sure though that you get a model with the rear reclining seats; that is the option that sets the back seat comfort "over the top". I have a Laramie and the reclining back seat was standard.

Agreed on how good the back seat is. My daughter says the back seat is like a limo. My grown up boys love the back seat. It’s amazing. I even try to let my boys drive so I can relax in back. My first experience in a DT was a 4 hour ride in a 2020 night Laramie Crew, in the back. I have ridden in limos that were not as spacious and roomy. No complaints for the Crew cab. I test drove the Chevy and Ford as well as Titan all in crew trim. The ford is too upright. The Titan ride was way too stiff. The Chevy is a Chevy. The Ram wins hands down. The seat has the perfect back angle. The cushion is comfy even in big horn trim. The only thing better is the Laramie and Limited with the adjustable backrest on the back seat. Also the ride an a DT 4x4 even with ORP, as mine has, is terrific. Also get the Alpine system and the kids love the base.
