thoughts on blacking out inside of headlights

Has anyone blacked out the divider inside the mid level led lights, the black out editions, rebels have it black, I want to know what like of pain it would be to open up the lights, remove the divider, paint it, then reseal it...

That's the look I'm going for, it's not likely that I will find someone willing to trade lights with me, so I gotta find out how to open them
