As title says I’m thinking about trading it in. Its a 2013 rt. 18k miles. Redline red. Demon replica wheels added oe style backup camera. Swapped boring interior with srt leather seats and steering wheel. Added T shifter instead of the minivan style, added srt “bright” pedals ans finally i replaced the stock crap uconnect headunit with a custom linus based system that performs extremely well and retains oe. I also did a catback mbrp echaust.

What am i looking at for a hit on this stuff? I know my best bet is to sell outright but if I find some other toy I wasnt, who knows this could help get it with w decent tradin

Ps - Ambien post. If something doeant make sense, i apologize. I dont a use ambien, i kust reaxld this forum before bed.

Only one true way to find out and that is to shop it at a few dealers, in person. Most likely though you will only get the value offered based off the vin and not what you added to it. I'd shop it and if you are not satisfied then you know your only route if not return to stock, take the trade in value and sell off parts. I recently did that with my 4th gen Ram, added a lot to it, shopped it and definitely was not getting anything for the "mods" and only off the stock value, so I returned it to stock and before I could take it to trade it in, it sold privately for a few grand more than the trade numbers I had with all the mod parts. I sold off the parts and made another 6k on top, so at the end of the day I got close to what my goal was at the start, just took about a month to execute and more effort but better than if I let it go for about 10k less.

Looking at the mods you’ve done, there are not out of line for something many guys would do to their own, so I think your best bet to recoup the most money with the least amount of physical effort would be to post it up for sale. I’m not aware of any blue book style site that will give you an accurate value based on the mods you have, so you might want to check with some other guys who has sold their challengers… Heck, maybe one of them would be looking for a replacement 😉

Unfortunately, none of those mods will add any value on trade in, and will really only help private sale if you can find someone that has the same style as you.

Thanks all. I’m not too concerned with recouping what I spent on mods necessarily. Barely spent anything on the seats/steering wheel. Biggest expensive was probably the voxx demon reps.
Just wasn’t sure if swapping the seats/radio would lower the overall value compared to what kbb or nada is.

Those parts won't add or subtract from value when using KBB or Edmunds, since they are not factory installed parts. The wheels, if you have factory wheels you'd be better off putting the factory wheels on the car as selling your demon reps separately. That is if you want the most money for your items.

Yep wont lower it but 99.9% won’t increase it either unless you sell privately and find someone that doesn’t mind paying for the upgrade. What I typically do if trading in is return what I can to stock and sell or give away w/e is aftermarket. Now you gotta factor in time/effort/ and figure out whats worth removing. Wheels/tires easy enough to swap stocker back on if you kept the stockers.. seats etc I would assume more then likely you didn’t store the stock ones since well they’re cumbersome.

Nope. One of the stock wheels a was damaged and I sold the other 3 lol

Might be worth searching FB marketplace/craigslist etc for a stock setup for cheap. Even the stock base model v6 charger/challenger setup “should” fit unless you also upgraded the brakes.
