The "N" on the drive selector

Does anyone know what the N with a light button in the center of the four-wheel drive selector indicates?

That's transfer case neutral for flat towing of your truck. Have to push with pen or other small tip to eliminate "what the h#$%!" moments because there is no Park in that neutral, i.e. as you watch you truck roll down a hill...

It’s to put the transfer case into netural for towing the truck

I don’t think the pen things is a thing if you will. There is a manual release behind where the drivers left knee is, behind the trim panel to disengage.

How do you "undo" the pushing of the button? I.e. how do you go back to normal mode?
