Look at this video, and at the 2:15 mark he talked about the metal trim. BTW, I thought this was an excellent video and showed me some things on the Longhorn I had not previously noted. The truck just kicks butt, can't wait

Not too bad. He sounded like he was learning while recording, especially when it came to the air suspension. It looks like the truck has most options, aside from RamBoxes and the Off Road Group (no ELocker, no Hill Descent Control, etc.). He also called it a "saddle" interior, but it's not the Black/New Saddle...it's the two-tone brown. Regardless, we love the Longhorn!

So the “black interior” as part of the Sport appearance package for the Laramie doesn’t get rid of the gold surround?

Chiming in and subscribing. I went from a 19 Limited with the carbon fiber looking surround and the black with white stripe wood trim. When I was looking at Laramies the trim was almost a deal breaker for me. But I knew I didn’t want another Limited and didn’t want to go down to a Big Horn or a Rebel ( ACC was a must have) so I was stuck with the Laramie. The gold trim really bothered me for a bit but after having it for about a month now I can honestly say I don’t even notice it anymore and I enjoy all the other aspects that I am fine with it.

That being said, subscribing to see what other options people come up with to get rid of it. I saw one thread where they used some sort of 3M tape to go over it and it looked pretty good but I am concerned about how clean it looked in person and how it would hold up.
