I went thru this earlier this year. After the 1st time I paid a $300 deductible and Ram Dealer fixed it. After that it was in the shop 5 times on their dime including rentals. All because of water getting in back window and knocking out the module which controlled all the electronics every time. The dealer finally forced the factory rear window, stripping and bracket around window. Not sure who paid (not me) it's been good since Jan. 2025. They just got tired of spending money on me under dealer warranty.I just found out I had it because 2 electronics modules were ruined by the water and the truck won't start. Mine is a 2021 Laramie.
I have an extended warranty but the service manager at the dealer said that it does not cover water damage. So....the design of the window is at fault and caused the modules to go out but they won't pay for either the window or modules? I call bull$*%&^
