I would like to thank all of the men and women who served and are serving my great country. Let us not forget why we celebrate this Memorial Day weekend. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICEScreenshot_20230527_110410_DuckDuckGo.jpg

While being a veteran, I appreciate the comments, but Memorial Day is not about veterans and their sacrifices. It's about the soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice. Let's remember them for the freedoms that we and others have because of their sacrifice.

Whatever the case may be just don't forget ANY of them

Remember this for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. This is not a day to thank a veteran or active duty military member, celebrate, or party. This is a day to pay your respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and died while serving thier country. Visit a cemetery and watch one of the many memorials happening this weekend. Teach your kids what Memorial Day really means.

Thank a Vet by simply extending a tiny bit of effort understanding the difference between Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, and Armed Services Day.

Memorial day is a day to remember, honor, and pay respect to all Military that gave their lives in service to the country, and especially in battle, and also their supportive loved ones that still grieve.

The effort is appreciated, but the lack of understanding and then blowing it off with a whatever is not.

It's really quite simple:

  • Memorial Day Honors All Military Dead
  • Veteran's Day Honors All Living Who Served in the Military
  • Armed Forces Day Honors All Who Currently Serve in the Military
