Have a 2023 ram bighorn 5.7. Temperature has been fluctuating between 215 to 240 driving. If I turn on the heat it will fluctuate between 222 to 240. But if I'm at a light to long it will overheat. When I shut it off and check everything the only thing I notice is the hose has very little pressure. But it has a little. Im a little concerned about my truck. Any ideas?

Spitballing...

Failed/failing water pump. Check by opening a hose, starting, and watching the flow that comes out.

Similar issue with radiator. Clogged?

Stuck thermostat? Check by starting cold and taking temps of radiator in/out hoses. Once thermostat opens, they should flow/change temp.

Those are quick and dirty ideas. (I assume your radiator is not blocked with pollen/seeds/cardboard/plastic bags/bent fins etc.)

ready the parts cannon. depending on mileage replace everything lol. i do my own work so i'm hitting it with a water pump thermostat and radiator. i can replace all 3 for the labor cost of the just radiator or water pump replacement. that may not be your situation.
2023 is a ET motor so i think the water pump is not he same a a regular HEMI and you will have the added cost of the belt.
i once had a dart swinger that was overheating because of a failed radiator cap. the pressure keeps the coolant from boiling. maybe just check the cap.
