Any suggestions on the best way to mount a flexible tailgate light bar? I have been reading about clips and mounting brackets but the one I ordered came with nothing but 3M tape it. Thanks.

All the ones I’ve seen have the 3M clips. Which one did you buy?

Some cheap one on Ebay (JC Win tailgate bar)...no directions and no clips. My own fault for going cheap. Heading to lowes tomorrow to see what I can find.

I tried the cheap roll strip lights and they are difficult at best to mount and get it straight. I ended up with a Rough Country strip that is rigid and then drilled holes in the plastic and used 4 black zip ties to mount. The roll-up with adhesive would not sit right with the ridges in the plastic AND the cable for the backup camera and lock for the tailgate.

Used this wiring harness (5 wire better than the 4 wire for wiring the backup light): https://www.amazon.com/CURT-56584-C...ng+Harness&qid=1566395079&s=automotive&sr=1-2
