Swing case

Looking to add a swing case to my truck. Love the idea, but Hate the thought of drilling hole through my line x into my bed. Seriously there’s enough unused holes without the tie down rails. Who has the swing case? And how what’s your thoughts? Worth the price?

I love my swing cases as they're super handy for straps, chains & bungees. I bit the bullet and had a dealer install them through my Linex. I just ordered a new 21' 1500 last night without the ram boxes and I don't plan on transferring the swing cases over. Hopefully I won't regret it.

I haven't installed on this truck yet, but have had them before and loved them. It's just a few holes in the bed. I always take a brush and paint the metal where I drilled to protect it.

I have both sides and love them had them in other trucks as well. Didn't really worry about drilling through my linex.

I had one in my 14 Sport to carry the tools, light and other items I keep in the truck. I was going to put one in my 19 Laramie until I saw the space available under the rear seat with the expanded storage. Everything I carried in the 14 fits under the seat in the 19, no rattles either and it's easier to get to.

I carry a bottle jack,and a few hitches, in a plastic tot. I have it strap to the front of the bed. Just looking for storage that’s near the tailgate
