Swapping Tow Mirrors for Standard Mirrors and Adding Power Folding

I know that swapping side mirrors has been discussed many times in this forum but I haven’t found one that matches what I am looking to do.

I just bought a 26 1500 Bighorn that came with the towing mirrors and blind spot but without power folding. I am looking to swap them for standard mirrors with the blind spot but adding power folding.

Does anyone know if the plug already there would contain the wires needed for power folding? I know I would have to replace the control on the door to one that has the power folding button. Would the harness going from the control to the mirror already have the wiring needed for that?

I appreciate any insight any of you could give!

You will need a new door module and the switch. And I probably programming. Not an easy thing on 2025+.

I did a whole thread on this exact swap on my dads 2026. It's posted on this forum. I laid out everything you need with part numbers. Power folding we have not been successful with getting it enabled yet.

Thank you! I was able to find the thread. Those mirrors are the ones with the 360 cameras, right? My truck doesn’t have those so I’ll need the ones without that. Also, do you know if the modules you listed would be compatible for mirrors without cameras?

Yes. The mirrors we got came with the cameras. The modules I would assume will work fine with mirrors that don’t have the cameras.
