I loved Myth busters, I remember they did a windows vs. A/C mpg episode as well..... myth was busted, actually got better gas mileage with windows up and A/C on due to less drag.Vaguely remember them adding a hard cover. Maybe not.
Both of those episodes made Car & Driver. Thinking Don Sherman or PJ O'Rourke wrote it.
