Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any experience replacing the seal (68357670AA) on their sunroof?

Somehow mine has got some tears/holes in it.

It looks like I'll need to remove the headliner and drop the sunroof down to get the new seal in. But was hoping someone could confirm before I jump in.

Cheers, Matt

Update in case anyone else needs to replace their seal.

It took about 30 mins from start to finish and quarter of a can of silicone spray to replace the seal.

You don’t need to disassemble anything, with the sunroof open you can peel off the old seal and push in the new.

I moved the front seats all the way forward and stood on the rear floor with my upper torso out the sunroof.

I sprayed some silicone in the channel of the roof, and on the back side of the seal lip once it was sitting in the channel. From there I just worked the seal into position with my thumb, I didn’t use any tools. I started in the middle at the back and worked my way around to the front. Once the seal was in place I ran a small plastic shim all the way around between the seal and roof to make sure the lip was properly seated, it was curled up in a couple of places.

Note, the seal has a front and back, make sure it goes in the correct way. The corners with 2 drain holes go at the back.

I purchased the seal (68357670AA) from ebay for $88.40
