Sun Visor question

I looked for an answer, but my visor didn't match up with what I have found.
2020 Ram 1500 Lone Star Edition. Visor would not stay when I would have it against the driver's side window, going around a curve or corner. I thought from my research, that the mounting plate was shot, but ,ie looks different. Anyway, It appears that the plastic on the top of the rod has broken. Part above the plate and the rest attached to the rod.
Are there part available to fix this, or do I need a new visor? Can the rod just be replaced and keep the existing visor?

I replaced the entire visor for about $110 online. They have a $20 repair kit on Amazon but I opted for new.

One question same problem; my right side is broken and I only see one cable; the replacement only connects from the connector?
