Others try 285/75 or 295/70 for Coopers/Wildpeak? Thoughts or suggestions on sizing/brands appreciated. Want to stick with 18” for now. Looking for beefier setup and to fill wheel well without sacrificing too much on ride

Both sizes are going to be E rated LT tires so your going to get a stiffer ride no matter what. One is a 1/2” taller and the other is a 1/2” wider. I’d go with the 295/70/18 if it was me, 34” tall and 11.5” wide is a good look. The 285/75/18 is close to 35” which I think is too tall on these trucks unless it’s lifted

I actually just bought some 295/60/20 tires and wheels to put on my 1 ton. That is basically the exact same tire size as the 295/70/18

Thanks for the feedback and appreciate it. Would their be another size/option just a little smaller you’d recommend. Have had AT3’s on my previous trucks and like this XLT model and have priced and reviewed them. Going to be maybe a tad agressive and worried I’m sacrificing too many MPG’s (or won’t I?) so maybe looking to step down a little so any suggestions appreciated.

Yeah for sure. Right now you have a 32”x 11” tires. 275/70/18 is the stock size that comes on the Rebels that’s 33” tall and 11” wide basically. You could go 285/65/18 which is 32.5” x 11.25

as far as brands there are just so many choices. If I were you I’d go on discount tire direct’s site and search by size. You can then filter it to AT tires and see what options there are.

I just recently put 295/60/20 Atturo trail blade Xt’s on my truck and they are going back and I’m switching back to a 275 width tire. The wide tire was not my style and they were loud. I’m trying out a set of Pirelli Scorpion all terrain plus that are going on tomorrow. I’ve had Falken Wild Peak AT3w, Goodyear wrangler Ultraterrains, Pathfinder AT’s and K02’s. You can’t go wrong with any of those.

If you want 295/70R18 without an LT E rating, Nitto Terra Grappler G2 is available in that size with an SL rating. 50.6 pounds, 13.5mm tread depth compared to 64.8 lbs and 16.5mm in the same size, LT E.

The G2 is also available in 305/60R18 XL (58 lbs, 13.9mm tread depth, 32.4” tall). I had that on my Laramie, and just put them on my Longhorn.

This is definitely the way to go if you want the bigger tire but still the nice ride
