Stupid Question

What’s the benefit of Car Play? I don’t voice text and don’t use Waze. Used to regular uconnect from my 17 ram.

I see it as a convenient way to use and visualize the apps from my phone.

If you have all your music downloaded to iTunes it’s awesome having your entire music catalog on your phone showing right on your Uconnect screen. Easy to scroll thru and have unlimited music. My phone currently has 400 albums in the memory. Crazy to think about that when I look at the space my entire CD collection takes up.

I grew up in the days of 8-tracks and cassette tapes taking up huge cases in the vehicle. CarPlay is pretty darn cool.

I have another stupid question:
Is there a way to change the settings for the channel button on the back left side of the steering wheel? When listening to XM is moves forward to the next channel, I would rather it go to my presets. Is this possible?
