Guys,

From time to time at highway speeds I get a very strange sound….like a flutter…maybe a whine…Almost like air escaping a balloon. It happen again Today and I wonder if it’s from some kind of crosswind. I thought it might have been coming from the AC but when I turned it off it didn’t go away. It feels like it coming from under the truck in the area of the center consul….any ideas?

Not sure the term but the hole in the firewall where the wires run through from engine bay to the cab? I’ve ran pod lights and light bar wire through there that has made a wind/wooshing sound at speed. Checked and the rubber gasket had gotten caught creating a larger hole to the bay. Flipped it over and was good.

Do you have the trailer mirrors?

Many people have discovered that at speed in a crosswind, they get whistling or wind noise. Supposedly its the giant mirrors acting as sails and opening the door gap a little. I know there are threads about it.
