I am sure that we have all had interactions with car/truck salespeople that are worth noting either because we had a stellar interaction or had to deal with a clown. Interested in your stories.

This morning I saw an advert for a Bighorn with a $63,975 sticker marked down with dealer and Ram discounts to $39,995. I went to the dealer to check it out and it was already sold - not surprised at that price. The sales person asked me what else they had that I wanted to look at and we got into a conversation about what I would like in a truck. He informed me that they had another V6. I informed him that the truck I was looking for had the I6. He was totally clueless and argued with me that it had the V6. I pulled up the sticker on my phone and showed him and he still insisted that Ram never made an inline 6. I walked right out the door. My experience with that dealer is that they have arrogant sales people, but for that price I was willing to take a look. Not any more...

ETA later same day. The salesperson had told me that the truck was not on their web site and the Ram site takes a few days to update. Sounded reasonable. I had a few minutes to verify his assertion. Lo and behold, the truck was still on their web page. I chatted with a web sales person and yes the truck is still there and not sold. BUT, no, they were not willing to sell it at the price I had captured from the Ram link to their site. Just reaffirms that they are not a dealer to deal with. Screenshot of pricing below.
