Stock looking aftermarket wheels ?

Looking for a wheel that is similar in style and color to the stock night edition wheels…. Lifted my truck and I’m not liking the stance and clearances of the stock wheels. (See pictures)

BDS says I should be running a 20 inch wheel with 5” backspacing so I can fit a 35x12.5 tire… my stock 22’s with the 295/50’s just ain’t working for me.

So if anyone has come across a wheel that looks OEM or has any suggestions I’d appreciate it very much….. thanks.

I’d like a taller and wider tire…. Can’t do that with the stock wheel. I already have a 1/4“ spacer on the front which I’m not crazy about. Just thought I’d ask if anyone has come across some wheels that look like the stock wheel but with a better offset.

So far I’ve come close but I think I’m gonna settle for a set of black procomps or method Wheels. They may be my only choice because I need a negative offset and 5” backspace to clear the lift…..

Have you checked out 4playwheels.com ? I just got a set of their 4P06 wheels. They have different styles than Fuel, XD, etc. Some of their wheels remind of of OEM style.

Could always do wider hub centric spacers like 1.5” give or take & a taller, wider tire to achieve the stance you want.

OE wheels website - might find something there as well. Check out the photo galleries on different sites also for our trucks. Custom Offsets has a lot of pics on there - photo quality isn’t the best. Vossen site has a decent amount of pics also. If you go Vossen, give Rick a call in Miami who owns Wheels Performance - he will sell them to you without having to charge sales tax. I also found out after I mounted my tires that Discount Tire is a Vossen dealer - it’s just not published. Said they could’ve saved me a little over $120.

I like the 4play wheels as well but went with Vossen.

Thanks everyone…. Appreciate the suggestions, still haven’t pulled the trigger but I’ve got a short list thanks to you. I’m waiting until after the holidays then I’ll grab something.… had I known the lift Was gonna require a specific wheel size and offset I might have gone a different route….. the easy route is wheel spacers but I’m just not comfortable with running a set full time. Too many old school horror stories.

I don't like running wheel spacers either after having a wheel come off my Titan doing 50 down a 2 lane road. It was an interesting afternoon rolling the wheel and tire 300 yards back to the truck after it took off.

Were they hub centric spacers with their own set of new studs as part of the spacer itself? Hard to tell when zooming in but it appears to be just a spacer that is hub centric but the original factory studs are still simply poking through the spacer which would shorten the factory studs & strength - is that what I’m seeing?

I’ve run proper studded hub centric spacers on my Jeep in addition to the higher negative offset/backspacing wheels & have never had issues. I’ve had this vehicle going on 13 years now - 4” backspacing + 2” spacers. I did however once order the wrong spacers that were not hub centric & nearly had a catastrophic failure but knew the first time I drove it that something was off & they needed to be replaced immediately.

The right spacers should never cause issues short of possibly wearing out ball joints sooner than later on some vehicles. The wrong spacers shouldn’t even be manufactured or sold to the public in my opinion.

Posting a photo for reference. The spacers are bolted to the factory studs with red loctite & has their own set of new studs for mounting the wheels. The center has a flange to stay centric to the hub & compliment the wheel in the same way.

They were Bora hub centric 1" with their own studs. My wheels had cut outs for the studs that were barely poking through the spacer. I'm not saying it was the spacer's fault, but it just leaves a bad impression you know? Nuts on the wheel probably weren't tightened enough, the wheel may not have been balanced that well, etc. I'd rather spend the money on wheels with the proper offset than add spacers.

For sure, I agree 100%. Offset over spacers. I haven’t looked into wheel spacers for the Ram so I wanted to ask before saying anything.

On the Jeep I run both & drive it fairly often on the road - definitely a lot more than I have the time to go off-road. Completely different design & suspension setup as well obviously.

If I had that issue on any of my other vehicles with the spacers I certainly wouldn’t go that route anymore either. Glad you’re all safe!
