That's literally only about a 1/4" difference in sidewall height.

33.9 vs 34.6...0.35" side wall difference..not much, but the 285/65 at 34.6 is basically the same as a 35x12.5 height-wise just not as wide (which is great for street/highway use)..beefy sidewall, but narrower for practically.
