Stellantis Wanted to Keep the HEMI® V8—But Tavares Said No

Well, TK's Garage on YouTube has had a stellar track record on this news over the last 6 months. And he's been saying for a while that the Hemi is back for Ram 1500, Hellcat engine stays in Durango for a while longer, and they're measuring/testing the new 2025 Charger to see if a Hemi will physically fit.

Then just today I saw a screenshot from a dealership highlighting the news that Hemi is back for Ram 1500, supposedly this summer, and the 6.4 is going to become an option (possibly in a sport truck, or possibly as an option on one or two trim levels only). So it looks like this is real....

And, they're taking Dodge/Ram back into NASCAR which means they are getting serious about brand image. So that lends credibility to the Hemi news also.....

They learned the hard way that you can't sell trucks with junk European engines under the hood. I think this is the start of a great new thing. I'm so excited.
His info seems really good lately (although it’s strange how the influencers Butter and OCM get the same info from seemingly different sources around the same time). I’m very excited for a special edition street truck with a 6.2 (hopefully non-supercharged and add blower as a post-sale addition with warranty) or 6.4, and I will buy one if it becomes available and I like it enough. I still wish I jumped on a SRT-10 when it was available.
