Hello all! I ran into an issue where I wanted to get all the build data from a vehicle. I also easily wanted to compare 2 vehicles because my dealer was trying to swap one for the other and I wanted to ensure the build was comparable.

Yes all the info can be obtained from the Mopar website but it wasn’t presented in a format useful for comparison so…. I built my own tool for this purpose.

1. the VIN compare is REALLY useful - comparing two different rigs right now as a replacement for my soon-to-be totaled '24!
2. suggestion for future feature (pipe dream)... is there a free carfax/autocheck API you can access? that would take this to the next level

That's awesome! I wish I was responsible for some "in-line edits" of the the build sheet but that is straight from Stellantis.

I did a little bit of digging on this. The part code MW5P was previously called "Hemi Badge". For 2026, it was renamed "Symbol of Protest" but they kept the same code, just updated the description. So I guess when you pull an old build sheet, it pulls the current description for that badge.

They should really have used a new part code.
