These are the buttons on the underside of the left side (as you face it in the driver's seat) of the steering wheel (the ones on the right, controlling volume, still work fine, as do other steering wheel buttons).

Has anyone else had this problem?

My truck is under a year old so I assume it will be covered under warranty.

I fear it will require replacement of steering wheel with long wait for parts, long time in service, probably problems with installation etc.

I hope it is a quick and easy fix, just a wire that has come disconnected (but seems doubtful, since all wiring harnesses seem to use positive-sealing connectors).

Thoughts, anyone?

Thanks,
Dave

Maybe a fuse? The owner's manual has a chart that shows everthing that is connected to a fuse and where the fuse is located.

hate to bring this back from the dead but here’s what I did to fix..

I switched to “Radio” to see if I could change AM/FM channels. The button seemed to work fine, so then I switched back to “Media” and used the button, and I was able to skip songs in CarPlay again..
prob just some type of reset.
