33k miles PTS button already replaced, engine would not turn off. Now it seems the starter relay or solenoid is getting ready to go south. Only a slight click, when PTS button is pushed. After recycling to off and start a few times, the engine starts. Anyone with similar issues

I can only speak to my starter failure, as I've not had any PTS issues.
My starter failure sounds similar to your description. Everything lit up as normal and my battery was known-good. But pushing start button only yielded that slight click and then nothing. Cycling the key worked for a while, until one night trying to start the truck in the airport parking lot it would not start at all. Thankfully my wife was with me so we did the old hammer trick and it started right up. That was the evidence I needed to know the starter was going bad. No issues since replacement.
