I ordered my RAM Big Horn on June 1, 2021...yes that long ago...This morning I finally got my VIN#: 1C6SRFFT7NN303555

Dealer tells me I will have it mid-late April here in Turks & Caicos....so it must have left the factory already and on its way to Miami before it gets put on a boat.

Can any of you fine gentlemen help me verify its status ? Also I assume a Window Sticker is final confirmation that all my options were actually built into my truck.??

Sorry I am new to this ...my first RAM and first factory order ever

Hey bigdodge,

Is it 'safe' to assume that if my BS lists Ramboxes in my build...then it has actually been built and includes them...even though I dont have my WS yet?

Reason I ask is that I want to order a bed cover (rambox version) before I get the truck...and not sure if the truck might show up without them. My BS does show them listed.

Thoughts?

your ship date of 4/22 means that is the date it should ship OFF the assembly line

the truck will not ship to your dealer until after a window sticker is posted

build sheets are issued mon - fri in the am

window stickers are issued every day in the pm

Just curious about your re-order process. How did the dealer screw you & did they give your deposit back?

Long story short….ordered truck in 12/21….dealer refused to talk about price. Just kept giving me updated POC’s. 5 days before delivery to dealer they contacted me to tell me that the price was MSRP + $10k Market Adjustment + $4500 Dealer Added Package.

they wanted $91k out the door for a Rebel with a Sticker of $68k.

I got my deposit back and walked away. Got a better dealer that same day from another local dealer.

Sad thing is, there is someone out there that will buy it at that price. The dealers know this and don't give a s**t. My original dealer laughed at me when I showed them my MD price. They knew they would have no problem selling the truck for list price.

Holy s***!!! Glad you got the deposit back. I was considering a raptor & had multiple dealers tell me there will be a 5-10k markup & then after one dealer said they wouldn’t markup, marked it up 15k after I was about to test drive one on the lot! Said they’ll do the same thing when the ranger raptor is released. Didn’t have any higher trim f150’s to test drive as they all had deposits so I said screw Ford, I’ll stick with Ram. & I’m done with GM. Whatever rich people out there will pay these markups are complete fools.
 
Just got notice that my second order hit D1, only 8 days after it was ordered. Woot woot! Hope the rest of the process goes this smooth. I actually have an ESD of 4/21 too. Never got an ESD from the other dealer.

the build sheet is usually law
window sticker does not always list everything

notice I said usually because this model year has been a cluster f u c k and anything can happen


another thing I forgot to mention
window stickers are a US thing you may or may not get one

Thanks again bigdodge...thats good to know...will keep my fingers crossed and hope all the options on my BS show up on the truck lol

I still can’t believe that no one at Ram could tell you why your first order is still in limbo.

It really drove me nuts. But.....I found some pics from the stolen trucks and a few of theones that got damaged, and they're at several trucks that look suspiciously like mine, with what appears to be bet very very similar setup. Even saw a rear end of a damaged one that was blue, had ramboxes, and a GT decal.

My 1st order dealership hasn't been horrible, although I have gotten that spidey sense lately that they're not being 100% honest about something, although I'm not sure what. Soooo....... my plan is, hopefully when ordered truck number 1 comes in I go to check it out......in ordered truck number 2 that came a bit before it. Lol

I saw that triple B notified me this morning that my BS was issued today. How can I actually check the build sheet itself to confirm its accurate like you’re describing here?
