Start of 2022 Production.

"celebrating" 10 months to the day I went to the dealership and order my RAM. I'm thinking of emailing the rep at the dealership . see if he has any inside scoop. but we all know this forum thread is way more knowledgable than any rep at a dealership. I was also going to hint that I am considering cancelling . see if it shakes a few trees. but like some one else here said, that is what they want . since i have 2021 pricing . as much as it frustrates and angers me i'm in it long term . fuelled by the idea that it is f^&king them out of making extra money. Spite is a beautiful thing.
Starting to see a few ontario orders being built...i am hoping and praying that they will build more and ship them all together in the near future...been waiting since March so i have an idea how you feel...i have a birthday at the end of the month....maybe a birthday gift??

Me too man, looks like several of us sitting in inspection purgatory since the 20th or earlier.

Wow! Don't know if this is good news or not but this is the first indication I have had that it wasn't just me stuck in I status. Doesn't appear to be any pattern either based on this list.

You are right…didn’t move that decimal point over…lol.

But still….bang out all of the orders in one week, then you can push out production of generic trucks to be delivered to dealers.

I think you assuming everyone who pre-ordered is on this forum. Likelihood is we are probably less than 10% of people who went in an ordered, maybe even less than 5%. We have to consider the demographic of the majority of buys of these, I hate to say it but it isn't the internet crowd. We are by far a minority here.

But on that same note, I also agree they should make all of our orders first :)

they have really destroy what should be a cool moment. this whole process has been bacon wrapped in chaos and BS-ery. if they finally built my truck. because I honestly have doubts it is even on their radar to build. but if they do, when i go to pick it up , i should be excited. but i think I will be filled with a rage so fiery hot that anything will set me off . and you know they are going to be super annoyingly upbeat and trying to upsell me extended warranties and other BS. I will not be in the mood. HERE'S YOUR MONEY> WHERE DO I SIGN?> GIVE ME MY KEYS. later losers.

Oh absolutely. When I posted, my percentage was very generous due to the unknown of actual customer orders.

With that said, even with say 5-10% of orders are sold, that can be technically knocked out in 1-2 days. Shipping ( basically sitting until you have enough trucks to ship to a region) and additional accessories are separate, but with just dedicating 1-2 days to build currently sold orders would have been just stupid simple to do.

They would probably love for you to cancel so that they can jack the price way up.

Read an article yesterday that Ram is producing high end models with most profitability while they have parts for builds. Seems logical as I ordered 6/16, just a Bighorn 4x2 V6, 3.55 rear and Ram Boxes..maybe I’ll have it by Xmas?

We all thought that, but current production numbers do not seem to reflect that.

The window sticker for a bighorn at 58k iirc says otherwise. I should have been built before that one going by price logic.

Don’t think this theory will hold out. If you look at my signature my build I would consider a “high end model “ that I ordered 7/16. As of today still stuck in “D” status. 😩😩

The data doesn't support this. What are the most high-end models? Limiteds and TRX's. Lowest end - Big Horns (if you ignore Tradesmen). Now look at the data. They've built a lot more Big Horns and Laramies - both by the numbers and by the percentages.

Are there a higher percentage of people on this forum with Limited and just more decked out trucks? Stands to reason that people that custom order loaded vehicles would also post on forums like this more than is healthy for one's sanity, making it look like there's tons of people with Limiteds getting their trucks, but it's really just a relatively small percentage of us crazy people.

Probably, but the tracker is tracking ALL orders, not just forum member orders.

Seems like a little of both.

I've looked at a ton of dealer window stickers and the Bighorns, Laramie and Rebels they have coming in don't have a ton of tech. Like none have BSM and I only saw one Rebel with the Tech Group. So, they are making those for dealers but they seem to be lower optioned (for tech anyway). Then the sold orders being built seem to be the higher end limited trims etc with more tech. Almost like they are giving sold orders, in higher trims, the chips.

If true, it doesn't look good for someone like me....a Bighorn with Tech Group, BSM, etc.

But, who knows.
