Start of 2022 Production.

Those numbers do seem to be trending downward.
Weekend numbers are typically lower anyway and rumor is that the plant has not been running full weekend shifts to allow inventory levels to come back up to try to keep weekday production moving.

998 Build Sheets found today. None of them were forum members.

Some extra stats for todays builds.

ALL BUILDS TODAY:
Wait from VIN being issued to build starting is 50 days with the max being 448 and the min being 5 days.

FOR TRX'S ONLY:
Wait from VIN being issued to build starting is 47 days with the max being 132 and the min being 30 days.

My local dealer currently has 30 new RAM’s on the lot. Most I have seen in years even predating all these production and supply chain issues. Never seen this many left so late in the model year either. Typically by September the current model year inventory is getting thin making room for the new trucks.
They’re gonna have to start passing on some pretty big discounts and incentives to get these trucks moving. Seems nobody is willing to pay MSRP anymore in this current environment like they did previously.

Start of 2023 production has slipped yet again. Now set for 11/28/22.

Man, good thing they closed the Rebel order books so early, would have been difficult to build before end of 22 production. /s

Anyone want to take bets on if they will start production before Christmas?

With the way things are going I will not be surprised if 2023 production starts in 2023

will that be a first?

the later date explains why no one with a 23 VIN have been moved to D-1

I think we'll know the estimated start date is real when someone goes D-1. I think they are just throwing darts at a calendar currently.

Yup, my dealer currently has 54 1500’s on the lot. Most are Big Horns and Laramies. They do have 3 Rebels and 4 Limiteds. You couldn’t find a Rebel or Limited earlier in the year. My sales lady told me they had someone offer $5K over MSRP for my Rebel when it showed up back in April.

I noticed later the dealer is now offering on average $5000 discounts plus current rebates and incentives. They didn’t budge off MSRP a few months ago so that’s finally a step in the right direction.

What a stupid, incompetent company. They look like fools compared to other manufacturers that are producing 2023s. There is presumably an issue with their supply chain or the new electric cluster. Why else continue to delay producing 2023s? It’s not like there are tons of updates that should require a lot of retooling. I’ve never owned a Ram, and I’m starting to lose confidence. I might go look at a Tundra or Sierra.

I understand not producing a ton of 2023s with high 2022 inventory, but why not start producing SOLD 2023 orders? They could make more money by not offering incentives on 2023s due to the high 2022 inventory. The inventory isn’t going anywhere soon with Sloppy Joe’s interest rates.

Man and I was hoping to have my truck for Christmas. 😩
I ordered in July with a realistic goal for delivery by thanksgiving and a worst case thought of christmas. looks like thanksgiving will be close but if i was you i’d look more at easter for reality
