Start of 2022 Production.

Here are a few more pics of the Rebel GT to wet your appetites. I tried to upload two 6 second sound bites of the exhaust, starting and lightly revving, but it wouldn't let me because the files were too large. If there's a way of doing it, let me know.

I decided to drop back and do some analysis on what Ram built over the past week. Here are some interesting statistics, based only on the build sheets issued this past week (Monday 10/11 thru Friday 10/15). I found 7,630 build sheets this past week, which is slightly different from triple_B's.

First, by VIN group. Looks like they're cooling off of on the earlier VIN groups and building mostly in the middle groups (while starting some really high groups). Sure wish they'd keep in mind that there are some of us who still have pending orders in the early groups.

Next, by series.

I've been sporadically updating the first page of the "2022 Ram 1500 Tracking" thread, but for those who don't check it regularly, here's a chart of the cumulative build sheets by VIN group.

Woah...those seats look like recliners. I bet it's super comfortable. Just a really great looking truck.

Question...I have a bighorn and I know I don't have this feature. Laramie has the reclining rear seats. Does your rebel have the reclining rear seats as well?

Did the GT pkg come with ventilated front seats also?

it is starting to look like "ship date" is when it is built
we shall see monday morning when friday, sat and sunday build sheets are posted.
Just curious... Do we have any visibilty on when the line is running? (24/7, 16/7, 24/5, etc...) Agian, more a matter of interest then anticipating or advocating for a change.

Could you upload to youtube and post a link to the video?

Thanks for posting! Almost my exact truck except for the night edition which I am jealous of X10.

I should hopefully be picking it up this week.

One thing that is interesting is the exhaust has the resonators, the actual Mopar performance cat backs that I have seen have none. They must of had to add them for production.

It isn't just the wait time from D to D1 or to get a build sheet. Mine was ordered and received a Vin on May 27th. I received a build sheet on Aug 20th and it is stuck in storage after a month in I status and weeks in JB status and now 2 weeks in JS status. I called customer care and they said that it is waiting only on a shipping schedule and nothing else. She said it is common to see 1 to 2 weeks in JS and 1 to 4 weeks in KZ status before a window sticker is issued and the order is shipped. This means that I might not see my truck until December after it was built on August 20th. Mine is not the only horror story here.
At least you got a build sheet? Ordered a Laramie with options like Ram boxes. 3.92, locking rear and more. No build sheet yet. After reading this forum I don't expect one! Maybe it'll get switched to a 2023 Model!

Oh I forgot to say it was ordered on 6-1-2021

Thanks ... The front seats are exceptionally comfortable and supportive, especially the way the bolsters hold you in. The rear seats don't recline.

Yeah, the exhaust on the GT is not the same as the Mopar Catbacks. They still sound good, but not near as aggressive.

Thanks. I hope they are getting some nice overtime!

from those charts they are definitely flooding dealer lots with bighorns. All the articles ive been reading over the past couple of months are saying they are building high end models, and as has been said they are in no rush to build my loaded rebel either. yet there is a loaded rebel gt 20k vins higher than mine w/ window sticker...

West coast delivery….

got a call today from the dealer, truck number 1 arrived (the truck that was ordered that didn't have the night edition so my dealer order the correct one 10 minutes later). I was told that truck number 2 is about 5 days behind this one…

so, both trucks ordered on 5/15/21

Truck number 1 build sheet on 9/29 and window sticker on 9/30 and delivered today.

Truck number 2 build sheet on 9/28 and window sticker on 10/8 with a delivery in 5 days….. only difference between the trucks was the night edition.

going tomorrow to look at truck number 1 just for laughs..

You have to love the fact some guys can get two trucks before most can get one.....
