whats up men. I have a 2020 ram 1500 laramie 4x4 . Just curious if anyone hears a squeaking as the motor runs. Not sure but sounds like it coming from the drive train. Its pretty uniform and always sounds that way. Its after the relays turn on and mabye its the sound of the drive shaft ????? Any help

Drive shaft noise will correlate with wheel speed. No movement, no squeak.

Drive belt noise can happen whenever the engine is running, in gear or not. And it may only happen with a load on, like a heavy electrical load or the AC.

So the sound coming from under the truck while running is normal. Just to be sure its not a noise from the engine like a belt drive or anything . Its from the drive shaft correct. Since i got my truck that sound had me paranoid. Nothing like hearkng an off noise on your vehicle . I would like to know what specifically that noise is. Thank you

Is that normal. The drive belt noise. It doesnt sound like its coming from my engine bay. And it of course seems louder on a cold engine.

You need to use better terms. "from under the truck while running " Just running, or moving?

Belt noise is not unusual, but it shouldn't be there, anyway.

If it's only when you're rolling, I'd suspect brakes before a driveshaft U-joint. Take it back to the dealer under warranty and let them sort it out. Give 'em a fighting chance and make arrangements so you can leave it overnight and they can listen to it first thing in the morning when it's cold.

They changed my belt and two tensioners, sound is still there.
