I too have used diff colors on various vehicles .. never had a problem peeling off when I wanted too (even on textured plastic) But I've only used BLACK and RED myself.

Yeah I’ve heard if prepped properly it peels off easily especially if you can get it in big chunks. I’ve done a motorcycle tank and mirrors before. Took the tank color off because I didn’t like it and it peeled off easy.

I’ve been satisfied with how my hood badges came out with Plasti-Dip.

Hardest part was the masking prep and cleaning the edges with a razor blade after.

That really did turn out great.
