I have a 20 Ram with the split tail gate. Went your a few days ago to put some stuff in the bed. Hit the latch and the tailgate wounded like it released the lock. However, it is stuck closed. I went back out after an hour and cooling down a little, and it worked as it should. The same thing happened a few days ago, so I guess its officially an issue now. Anyone had anything like this happen with the split tail gate. I have have no issues when trying to open the tail gate in the traditional manner. My dealer says he cant get the truck in for a diagnosis for a month..... curious is anyone else has this issue before I go to the dealer and see what they say.
