That’s what I thought too, but that’s the only time my phone has the wrong mph is when it’s plugged in. After redoing the tire size with Alfa my speedo matches both of my phones, but if I plug one in, the phone that’s plugged in changes to a speed that’s lower than the actual speed. I wish I knew how to make them match so Waze would work right
I stopped using Waze a couple years ago because it wasnt working right for me. I would miss turns because it wouldn't alert me until I was in the intersection I needed to turn at, often showed me off the road I was actually on, so if I was on the freeway, it would show me on the side streets next to freeway.

Hi, I'm brand new here and a first time Ram owner. I bought a 2021 1500 Laramie. It came with 285/60 R20s that were added by the previous owner. The truck is supposed to hav 275s so as you know the speedo and Odo are reading lower than the actual ratings. The dealership said there is no way to correct the speedo but I don't buy that, it's a computer after all. The speedo reads 9km/h lower than actual at 120 km/h. I'm not really up on the gadgets that can be used and I would hate to screw something up. Can you lend a fella a hand?

Thanks,

J

U can search the Alfaobd thread or JScan thread both will get you squared away. Rough country also sells a Speedo calibration tool but I’d suggest using the JScan(iOS) or alfaobd(Android)

Welcome !
You can also get the Tazer that can unlock a lot of stuff on your truck and reset the tire size. My truck is a 2021 and the Tazer is great I use the Pin Code feature and some times change my DRL'S to amber.
