Speedo glass removal?

Anyone know a trick to getting the speedo cluster glass separated from the mask?

I am adding some red to the dials and need access to these silver rings

Pull the whole cluster out from the dash and once removed you'll see small plastic clips around the outside edge of the cluster that go all the way around use a small flat head screw driver and pry outward while pulling out wards on the face of it and it will separate fairly easily.
