Coming from a 1500 Laramie w/ 11 speakers and sub.

Going to buy a 2500 tradesman, we're hoping we can sell the 1500 Laramie at the same price we'll purchase.

I've gotten very used to decent sound w/ my past several vehicles. I don't have issue w/ missing the other luxuries with this switch, but sound is something I can't compromise on that severely.

What would I need to purchase to upgrade the audio to something of decent quality? I also plan on installing an android head unit - so this wouldn't be the stock head unit.

I'm unsure of what amplification I would need and the best way to wire that up.

Any good guides available that are vehicle and year specific?

2 things wrong forum and if it's 2019 and up trade with the canbus you cant really change the head unit

You might have better luck in the Homepage - HD Rams forum. This is the 5th Gen 1500 Rams site.

Ran these in my 3500 front doors and my 1500 front doors: 4 ohm version

They are made for a tad shallower mounting, the others won't fit.
man they are shallow. cdt's are solid. shallow speakers are not really necessary 3.5 inch deep works
i have a list of speakers that fit in my door with no mods. as you can see i kept chasing the dragon
i tried cdt Unity7.5 2” wideband mid-tweeter drivers with U-500 crossovers and a set of cdt ES-02EX in the dash but they didn't do it for me.
cdt EF-61FG'S, 560 crossover and TW-24 1 inch tweeter.
old school rockford 6.5 fanatic q's.
Infinity Reference 9632IX - no bad for the money
JBL Stadium 62CF - i did use 6x9 to 6.5 adaptors ok but not worth the money.
JL Audio C2-690tx - sound awesome but they should for 299.9 - ended up in my back doors.
Kenwood KFC-XP6903C- is what i landed on, IMO they are the best choice.
ultimately a 6x9 in the door with a 3.5 coax in the dash sounds the best for front stage.
