So I upgraded the stock 6 speakers to kicker ds and I'm beyond frustrated. Ive struggled to get thing even close to sounding decent (to me) without luck. I've installed l-pad voltage drops to the 3.5s to mute them a little, I've repinned things, check phases and it still sucks. I'm at the point that I pulled the 3.5 and only have door speakers. Great clarity but little to no bass / mid bass. I know. I know..... But I'm not installing an amp. At this point I'm really looking at just putting the stock stuff back in but need to find a replacement 6x9. The 2 ohm paper coned speakers have way more response to 100 hrz and below. What a waste of time this has been. End rant.

Just an FYI,,, I believe on the Base 6, the front doors and the 3.5 dash spks are wired together back to the ANC... on the amplified systems they are individually wired to the amp.. If this is old news, just disregard :)
