Hey guys so I’m planning on picking up 285/55/22r tires soon on ram 2019 Laramie. No lift or anything just stock. I assume my spare tire won’t work? Which size spare tires should I be buying and will it fit where current one is stored under the bed ? If my current spare Tire is slightly smaller will it work in a pinch.

It may fit as is. I managed to get a 35x12.50 under mine just by trimming about a 1/4” off the back side of the hitch. Your over all diameter is smaller so it may clear without modification.

Smaller spare will work. If you have a rear tire go out, move one of the front tires to rear and put the spare in the front. Just don't use 4wd.

That size tire will fit. It's roughly the same as my 295/70R18. You have to jam it in there, but it'll work. I didn't remove my heat shields.

all that matters is the tire height if it's the same as the spare i would just leave the stock spare in place. that's just me

Size you'll need for a 18" spare wheel underneath. I'm not sure what width the spare wheel is, guessing 8" at least

275/65-18 is the size of the "full size" spare
32.1 in tall
i would try to put one of the 22's in the spare tire rack if it fit i would get another rim and tire and put it in rotation as in rotate all 5

I did not want to have a 2" diameter tire difference when I changed tire sizes. Like I said, the 295/70R18 is basically the same size tire as the size @acitalianman13 is getting. If he wants to stick with an 18" spare wheel use that size. Or get a fifth 22" wheel for the spare. Either size tire will fit with a bit of wedging against the heat shields and trailer hitch.
