My spare includes:
20x9 Moto Metal MO985 BREAKOUT Gloss Black Machined Wheel 6x5.5/6x5.5 (0mm)
Kanati Trail Hog 35x12.50R20LT

I removed the heatshields and I'm having a hard time not touching the hitch receiver and the trackbar. Has anyone run into an issues not being able to clearance the trackbar? I'm not too worried about the hitch receiver touching, I am more concerned with the track bar. It is a big deal if it touches the track bar? It's touching it barely.

Mine did the same thing. I trimmed the back of the hitch behind the weld about 1/4” and I just barely clear the trackbar now.

Yeah, it's looking like I'll have to do the same. Thank you!

I saw another post on here where someone said their 35" tire fit in the spare spot no problem.

I had a very different experience with my 35" spare. I couldn't even get it to fit up in the spare location, it hit the track bar and the hitch. I ended up cutting my hitch apart and welding it back together, setting the center of the hitch about 1.5" further rearward to get about 1" of space between the 35" spare and the track bar.

I also had to add some metal to the license plate bracket to bring it back closer to the body, and added gussets to the newly welded areas. I left the heat shields on, but seem to remember having to bend one a bit.

Since that time, it has been offroading with lots of articulation with no signs of the spare hitting the track bar.

FWIW - My 35" tires are actually 34.6", so not a true 35".

The photo kind of shows how much the center of the hitch was moved back.

Good luck on your spare mount! Let us know how it goes.
