Sound Insulation on '21 Ecodiesel. I was looking under the hood
on my truck at the dealer's, I saw some Sound insulation stuffed
into the front fenders just below the windshield. There is no
weather stripping on the hood to keep water from getting it wet.

Is this ripe for retaining water and rusting out the panels?

I will post a pic tomorrow.

Noticed the same thing. I pushed mine a little further back as one was wet already. Thinking might just pull them out?

Here is the Pic:
I might get some Flexseal and coat them.

Yuk.
I’d rather see closed cell foam there.
