Is it normal that at idle speed, in cold weather but not too much (for example 40F) and a little humid, smoke comes out of the exhaust (I'd say water vapor if you look at it)?

this thing happens even after many kilometers and I also see it in the rear-view mirrors, to the point that in the evening if I reverse the rear camera it fogs up.

is it normal? maybe yes.... but it's better to hear from those who have had a RAM for a long time.
Thank you

Yes water is a byproduct of the combustion process. More noticable in colder temps

thanks for the answer,
I imagined it but a confirmation reassures me because on European cars with smaller engine capacity, the steam is only visible when the engine is cold, or when the temperatures are below 0 C (30 F).

in any case when traveling there is not any condensation: my wife confirmed while standing behind the truck

have a Lexus NX and a Ram in the garage. Ram will pretty much smoke out the garage when started while cold within a couple minutes whereas the Lexus can run for 10 minutes and not see any smoke at all (garage doors opened in both situations, from -5 Celsius and below)
perfectly normal with these trucks
