Sliding cupholder location setting

I love the sliding cupholder but prefer it to be between 2 settings. Anyone found a way to make your own "setting"? IE With it all the way forward it blocks by cell phone holder and with it in the next back setting you cant access the little covered storage bin.

I would use hot glue. Strong but not permanent.

Not a bad idea. I looked last night and noticed that there are little square cutouts that the cupholder locks in to. Was thinking about making my own cutouts so ittl lock exactly where I want it too. Could just use a Dremel.

Yes OP wants it between fully foward and middle. I like idea and will do it on mine.

dremel out some new holes like the existing ones. The holes is where the slider catches to lock in. I agree it could use some in between settings

Im gonna take some measurements and Dremel the new holes this weekend. Will post the update with pics.
